Songwriter of German origin Peer van See brings us stories of the world that we are thrown into: of living disenchanted beside the ugliness we know on the one hand, to being curiously cleansed by the beautiful facets of humanity revealed to us by the other.
In terms of sound, Peer van See combines German Liedermacher, a form of German Song, with elements of Indie and an electronic approach to sound. Music to reflect in, not resign to. Sounds and melodies to carry us not bore. Either with a full band, solo, or anything in between: Peer stands apart from the crowd in his desire to promote German sung music with his intricate wordplay sung in his native tongue. This gives his music a passion and other-worldly nature that is not often found in Manchester and the UK.
